Comments: My father, Thomas R. Smith of Brooklyn N.Y. was a tail gunner and the rank of Staff Sargent completed over 75 missions. He was a crew member of The Old Man; tail # 124403, possibly other planes. I would appreciate any info on his and crews experiences.

Comments: I am a former Marine infantryman, but my late father-in-law, Charley Farha, flew with "Ken's Men". He was a gunner/photographer. As I understand it he was on a B-24J. Would like to correspond with any members of the 43rd BG who might remember Charley. I am also a model builder and would like to build a replica of the B-24J "Ken's Men" if some other modeler can recommend a set of decals in 1/48 scale.

Comments: I posted a message yesterday and spelled "hero" with an "e" at the end! I have a BA in English and that drove me nuts all night! Thanks, and God bless each hero who served with Ken's Men.

Comments: My father, Tech Sgt. Harold Hammons, from Jacksonville, Ar., flew 40 combat missions with this group. Unfortunately, I believe he sufferered from ptsd and never said much about the war. He took his life in 1979. He was a heroe to me and his country, as are all of you. May God bless you all, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
