My father, Thomas R. Smith of Brooklyn N.Y. was a tail gunner and the rank of Staff Sargent completed over 75 missions. He was a crew member of The Old Man; tail # 124403, possibly other planes. I would appreciate any info on his and crews experiences.

I am a former Marine infantryman, but my late father-in-law, Charley Farha, flew with "Ken's Men". He was a gunner/photographer. As I understand it he was on a B-24J. Would like to correspond with any members of the 43rd BG who might remember Charley. I am also a model builder and would like to build a replica of the B-24J "Ken's Men" if some other modeler can recommend a set of decals in 1/48 scale.

I posted a message yesterday and spelled "hero" with an "e" at the end! I have a BA in English and that drove me nuts all night! Thanks, and God bless each hero who served with Ken's Men.

My father, Tech Sgt. Harold Hammons, from Jacksonville, Ar., flew 40 combat missions with this group. Unfortunately, I believe he sufferered from ptsd and never said much about the war. He took his life in 1979. He was a heroe to me and his country, as are all of you. May God bless you all, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My father, Hugh Jones, was a member of the 63rd. He was a sergeant in ordinance. I'd love to hear from relatives of his leutenant.
